Charity Hospital Redevelopment, New Orleans

The iconic Charity Hospital building, vacant since Hurricane Katrina is slated for a major redevelopment. It’s transformation from the second largest hospital in the country when originally built to a major mixed use development housing retail, residential and institutional uses will be a major catalyst for the revitalization of the medical district in downtown New Orleans. Wink coordinated the code review and permitting submittals, window replacement design, and many other design and management tasks.
